Cory Rabago, President of Warrior Construction LLC
Built on Integrity. Driven by Innovation. Rooted in Hawai‘i.

Born in Hali‘imaile. Built across every island.

I’m Cory Rabago — born and raised in Hali‘imaile, Maui. I picked up my first nail bag in 2003 on the Wailuku Apartments job site with Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company. Twenty-two years later, I’ve framed homes in Kailua, poured slabs in Hilo, renovated hotel suites in Waikīkī, and built federal facilities at Schofield Barracks.

In 2024, I founded Warrior Construction LLC to do the work the way I’ve always wanted to — with precision, integrity, and zero shortcuts. The name Warrior isn’t about combat. It’s a Hawai‘i thing. Every island warrior I grew up around showed up, did the work, took care of the people behind them. That’s the standard.

The Roots

Why Warrior — and why Hawai‘i

I grew up watching the people around me carry weight without asking for credit — family, neighbors, crew bosses, kupuna. That’s the Hawaiian warrior tradition. Show up. Do the work. Take care of your people. Leave the place better than you found it.

When I started Warrior Construction in 2024, I named it for them. Every job we touch represents that standard. Every homeowner, AOAO board, school district, and military client deserves a contractor who treats their project like it belongs to family — because here, it usually does.

“Warrior Construction exists to build with precision and integrity — delivering projects that strengthen communities, create opportunity, and leave a legacy worth standing behind.”

22 Years on Hawai‘i Job Sites

From Wailuku Apartments to Warrior Construction

2000 — 2004
King Kekaulike High School, Maui. Graduated 2004. Started learning what it took to build a future on the island where I grew up.
2003
Walked onto my first construction site — Wailuku Apartments with Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company. Learned the trade by doing it under one of Hawai‘i’s oldest and most respected GCs.
2003 — 2012
Commercial and hospitality build-outs across O‘ahu and Maui, including the Surfjack Hotel renovation in Waikīkī — a project that shaped how I think about preserving character while modernizing systems.
2012 — 2020
Institutional and federal projects: Hawaii Carpenters Union facilities and federal work at Schofield Barracks Building 452. Earned IICRC and LEED certifications.
2020 — 2024
Commercial tenant improvements at Ka Makana Ali‘i: Lindberg and B Young. Built the playbook that became Warrior — quality control, self-performed trades, no-shortcut delivery.
2024
Founded Warrior Construction LLC — Hawaii GC License BC-34373. Serving every Hawaiian island under five core values: Responsibility, Integrity, Commitment, Honesty, Respect.

The reason behind the work

When I’m not on a site, I’m with my family — my girlfriend Vee, my daughter Jaylen (18), and my son Zavien (11). They’re the reason every project gets done right. The standard isn’t “good enough for a stranger’s house.” The standard is “good enough that my kids could grow up in it.”

Outside work and family time, you’ll find me at the gym, at the beach, or under the hood of a car.

Rooted Here

I don’t just build in Hawai‘i. I’m from here.

Mainland contractors can’t price a salt-air-corrosion build the same way locals can. They don’t know which inspectors at DPP move which way, what materials Honsador stocks vs. what ships from Long Beach, or how a hurricane clip on Maui differs from one on the Big Island. Twenty-two years here taught me that local knowledge isn’t a soft skill. It’s the difference between a project that lasts 50 years and one that fails the first salt season.

Five Non-Negotiables

The values every Warrior project is built on

01
Responsibility
Ownership of every detail of every job. No excuses, no “not my problem.”
02
Integrity
Doing the right thing even when no one’s looking. Permits before walls.
03
Commitment
Standing behind every project, every timeline, every callback — long after the punch list.
04
Honesty
Straightforward pricing, real timelines, no hidden fees, no oversold promises.
05
Respect
For the land (mauka to makai), for the homeowner, for the crew, for the trades.
