Dowsett Point Planter Waterproofing Removal

Project Details

Location Honolulu, Oʻahu
Project Size Planter box · condominium

Status Completed

About This Project

Dowsett Point’s planter box was holding water against the structure, and the association needed the failed waterproofing exposed and the saturated soil gone before any permanent repair could begin.

Warrior Construction removed the planter soil and the existing waterproofing down to the structural slab. Because the area collects rain quickly, we set up temporary pumps to keep standing water under control and installed a remote monitoring system with cameras and connected power controls, so water levels could be watched without a crew on site every day.

The result is a clean, dry, fully exposed substrate that the engineers and owner can inspect, ready for new waterproofing in the next phase.

Scope of Work

  • Planter soil removal
  • Existing waterproofing removal to the structural slab
  • Temporary pumping and dewatering
  • Remote camera and pump monitoring
  • Substrate left clean and ready for new waterproofing
