Warrior Construction LLC (license BC-34373) is delivering a multi-trade entrance renovation package for a Walmart retail location in Pearl City, O‘ahu, as part of a store modernization program for the national retailer. The scope centers on upgrading the building’s point-of-entry infrastructure: installing two new exterior doors complete with new concrete stoops, along with a dedicated new entrance door for the store’s Beauty Sales department.
Executing this scope requires coordination across a full range of trades — demolition, concrete flatwork, masonry repair, structural steel support installation, carpentry, fixture relocation, door hanging, drywall and metal framing, electrical, and finish painting. Rather than a single-trade swap, the project is a true turnkey entrance build-out, bringing structural, envelope, and finish work together into one cohesive scope.
A defining challenge of this project is that it takes place inside a fully operating retail store. All work in customer-facing areas is scheduled as night work, allowing Warrior’s crews to open up building envelope sections, pour new concrete stoops, and frame new door openings without disrupting daytime shoppers — a sequencing discipline that is essential on occupied big-box retail sites, and representative of Warrior’s capability to perform structural and finish-trade work for national retail clients under tight occupied-site logistics.
